Dan age 17 back on the farm
sitting on ''The General'' tractor.
Folks, I was in 7th Heaven when
working this tractor. I did a lot of
singing with that ole engine had to sound good!!.
Mel Steele, could tune a guitar faster
than anyone I have ever heard. He
was a real base player. Was with
Renfro Valley for years till the Lord
sent him to us. He had a great
testimony and sang a beautiful tenor.

Hilda, Marsha & Debbie Dodrill   1962
Marsha Halbirt & Hilda McDaniel.
Marsha was a beautiful singer, piano
player & the sweetest organ player. I
was never blessed by anyone playing
the organ as I was Marsha. She lost
her battle with Cancer. Hilda was a
beautiful tenor singer and was always
ready to sing, you could always count
on her. She lost the battle with heart
